Notes and sketches for her calligraphic manuscript "The second coming" based on a text by W.B. Yeats [between 1996 and 1998].

Most items ([27] unbound leaves) are preliminary calligraphic sketches of text in black, brown, gray, and dark red ink on fine white paper, and rough beige paper. Also included is [1] photocopied leaf, on which the artist has jotted an undated note to Wing curator Paul Gehl. The mock-up of the final ms. contains [6] leaves of the ms. on heavy yellow-beige, mottled paper, sewn together, and laid within black paper covers, the ends of which are folded into flaps. Pastedowns on the same paper are decorated with the same watercolor smears, swirls, and lines in red, gray, brown, ocher, white, and black as the text.

[27] items ; 31 x 28 cm. or smaller.
